Introducing the first high-speed bi-directional spiral, which can hold products for a few minutes off line. This new system was first shown at the PMMI show (2002) in Chicago and received much interest from those who need to off line store products either for a further process or because of line blockage. The system can take products off line automatically and store them in a small footprint, then bring them back into the line, very similar to a horizontal bi-di but done vertically. Features include less floor space, high-speed capabilities (over 300FPM in each direction), single file or mass, completely wash down construction, in low out low. |
